The organ, originally built for Mill-Hill School, was adapted and installed in 1948. It was dedicated by the Bishop of Grantham as a thank-offering for victory and in memory of the dead of the second World War 1939-1945.
It replaced a hand blown single manual organ, which itself had replaced a barrel organ consisting of two barrels.
